The newly established International Soil Carbon Industry Alliance (ISCIA) is a NGO dedicated to catalyzing positive change in agriculture by promoting the vital role of soil carbon. ISCIA is being established to provide a platform for experts, stakeholders and industry professionals to collaborate and share knowledge on soil carbon and agricultural decarbonisation projects. The group will aim to identify and overcome barriers that hinder the success of soil carbon projects, develop best practices and provide recommendations for policy development that support soil carbon sequestration.
Main Duties and Responsibilities / Where your expertise is needed
- You will manage the brand to ensure consistent communication of the organisation’s mission and values across all channels and will ensure that the integrity of the brand is maintained and promoted at all times
- You will develop and oversee the delivery of a corporate communications strategy to build the organisation’s brand and reputation, including writing and editing effective copy
- You will develop a stakeholder engagement strategy to maximise relationships with clients, investors, partners and intermediaries
- Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies including posts, blogs, and newsletters, to keep the community informed and engaged
- Serve as a liaison between the ISCIA community and the Board of Directors, addressing concerns, answering questions, and resolving issues that community members may face
- Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews to provide insights to internal teams and help shape company strategy
- Organize online and offline events (webinars, meetups, conferences) to foster community engagement, provide education, or celebrate achievements.
- Provide cross-functional support for Board of Directors and subcommittees, (ie Finance, Marketing, PR and Communications teams, etc.)
- Build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends related to ISCIA
Requirements / What we are looking for
- An academic degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or a comparable qualification
- 3 years of professional experience, ideally in the field of (B2B) Marketing and Communication, knowledge in sustainability is a plus
- Experience planning and leading community initiatives
- Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
- Hands on experience with social media management
- Ability to interpret website traffic
- Knowledge of online marketing
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership
- Remote Role, ideally in European or East Coast time zone
- This role can be a part-time role or a full time role.
